FinKut vs Fiscal.ai
Both are AI stock research tools. FinKut is strongest at reading filings and calls, Fiscal.ai at breadth of data.

The short answer
FinKut is built to read US companies' 10-Ks, 10-Qs and earnings calls quickly: every finding in an analysis is tied to the place in the filing it rests on, and each answer management gives to analysts is marked. It has a permanent free plan, and its paid plans cost less than Fiscal.ai's.
Fiscal.ai (formerly FinChat) is for people who want breadth: more than 100,000 companies, ETFs and funds, multi-year KPI and segment data for more than 2,000 companies, numbers updated minutes after an earnings release, and an API and MCP connection.
Which one fits you?
FinKut is the better fit if
- you want to understand a 10-K or an earnings call quickly, with its sources.

Fiscal.ai is the better fit if
- you also look at companies outside the US.
- you want to follow KPIs over the years on a chart.
- numbers arriving minutes after an earnings release matter to you.
- you want to connect the data to your own AI tool through an API or MCP.

FinKut is strongest at reading, Fiscal.ai at data
FinKut's strength is reading. It opens a 10-K with an investor assessment and works through the business, financials, risks, management, capital and markets, and outlook, with the quote each finding rests on next to it. For every earnings call it analyzes, it also lists the operating KPIs mentioned, with period, value and change, tied to the sentence they were said in.
Fiscal.ai's strength is data. It extracts the numbers for US, Canadian, UK and European companies itself and typically publishes them 3-7 minutes after the earnings release; for other countries it uses S&P Capital IQ data. For more than 2,000 companies it keeps KPIs as multi-year series.
Earnings calls
FinKut goes inside the call. It compares each piece of guidance with the previous call (new, raised, maintained, lowered) and with analyst estimates, marks every answer to an analyst question as direct, partial or evasive, and shows red flags checked against the 10-Q, such as one-off items, non-GAAP emphasis or quietly lowered expectations, with their sources.
We did not see answers assessed this way on Fiscal.ai's pages. What stands out on Fiscal.ai is the material around the call: transcript, audio, slides and notes in one place.
Pricing and trial
FinKut costs less: billed yearly, Researcher is $24.92 a month and Fiscal.ai Pro $39. On the top plans, FinKut Pro is $41.58 a month and Fiscal.ai Max $79.
FinKut has a permanent free plan with no card and a 14-day money-back guarantee. On Fiscal.ai, new users add a card for a 7-day trial and monthly plans are not refunded; on yearly plans, though, its 30-day refund window is longer than FinKut's.

Frequently asked questions
Fiscal.ai or FinKut?
It depends on what you need. Choose FinKut if you want to read 10-Ks, 10-Qs and earnings calls with their sources, see how management answers and pay less. Choose Fiscal.ai if you need non-US companies, multi-year KPI series or an API/MCP connection.
Which one is cheaper?
FinKut. Billed yearly, Researcher is $24.92 a month and Fiscal.ai Pro $39. Billed monthly, it is $29.99 against $49.
Does FinKut have a free plan?
Yes, and no card is needed: 30 chat messages, 4 filing-analysis credits and 2 call analyses a month, with the screener, chart builder, 13F and congressional trades open too. On Fiscal.ai, new users start with a 7-day trial that needs a card.
How does FinKut analyze a 10-K?
Every 10-K analysis opens with an investor assessment, followed by seven sections: summary, business, financials, risks, management, capital and markets, and outlook. Findings come with the quotes they rest on, charts are drawn from the filing's own numbers, and the original filing opens on SEC EDGAR. 10-Q analyses put the executive summary, management's view, outlook, risks, legal matters and investor questions in separate tabs. A filing without a ready analysis can be analyzed with credits: 3 for a 10-K, 1 for a 10-Q.
What does FinKut show for an earnings call?
Every piece of guidance management gives, with its range, its direction against the previous call (new, raised, maintained, lowered) and the analyst estimate next to it. Each answer to an analyst question is marked direct, partial or evasive. With sources, it also lists red flags checked against the 10-Q, such as one-off items, non-GAAP emphasis or quietly lowered expectations, the KPIs mentioned on the call, and topics discussed more or less than before. The earnings surprise, the direction of guidance and the market reaction are calculated from data.
Does FinKut have KPI data?
Yes. The operating KPIs mentioned on every analyzed earnings call (such as subscribers or store count) are listed with period, value and change, each tied to the sentence it was said in. Segment revenue by product and region is in the chart builder, and products and segments appear in the business tree of the 10-K analysis.
What other tools does FinKut have?
Reflex (early access: ask the same questions of up to 25 companies at once), a chart builder, a stock screener, peer comparison, analyst estimates and DCF, news intelligence, 13F institutional holdings, congressional trading and research reports. Some are open as previews on Free, some from Researcher up.
